Through our guided nature and hiking experiences, you will get information as well as your own impressions of the Store Mosse National Park. Gun and I André, who love nature and hiking, have lived close to here at the National Park for 30 years.

Take a swim in a bog pond and hike with snow shoes

This tour is suitable for everyone, as it also ensures access to the high moor for wheelchair-bound people, families with prams and cyclists. Clothes according to the weather and hiking boots are recommended. Bathing suits can be taken with you if you want to swim after the snowshoeing.

The Black Pond is a swimmer-friendly bog lake. To get there we first walk through the forest to reach the wide path which goes directly to the High Bog surrounded by the Black Pond.

Here we mainly can see plants and watch the sundew. Here we take a tour on snow shous to explore the feeling of the Bog under our feet. After the snowshoehiking there is a coffee break in the silence of nature, right on the banks of the Pond. We have coffee/tea/children’s drinks, cinnamon rolls and resperry dimples. Afterwards we head back to the Östra Rockne car park where the tour starts and ends.

Personal diploma will be given to each snow shoe hiker.
